How we treat each other.

This code applies to everyone who takes part in the life of the institute: applicants and their families, students, faculty and staff, guests, and anyone using our website, application portal, or communication channels. It applies on campus, at institute events, and online.

The institute is built on a few plain commitments: respect for every person, integrity in what we claim and submit, rigour in the work, and honesty about what is real and what is still in formation. We expect the community to hold to the same standard.

• Treat others with respect and good faith, across differences of background, gender, religion, ability, or origin.
• Communicate honestly and keep the commitments you make.
• Do your own work — in applications, assessments, and coursework.
• Respect people's privacy, time, and property, including shared equipment and spaces.
• Raise concerns openly and constructively.

The work you present must be your own. That means no plagiarism, no fabrication, and no impersonation — in your application, in any supervised assessment, and in coursework. Our assessments and oral defences are deliberately designed to be defended in person and without outside assistance. Dishonesty undermines the whole standard the institute exists to protect, and it is treated seriously.

• Harassment, bullying, intimidation, or discrimination of any kind.
• Threats, violence, or language intended to demean or exclude.
• Dishonesty, cheating, or misrepresenting your identity or credentials.
• Sharing others' private information without consent.
• Disrupting teaching, assessments, events, or the safe running of the campus.

If you experience or witness a breach of this code, tell us at admissions@wiatech.sl. Reports are read by a real person and handled as discreetly as circumstances allow. We will not penalise anyone for raising a good-faith concern.

Depending on the seriousness of a breach, responses may range from a conversation and a warning to withdrawal of an application or offer, or removal from the community. Decisions about admissions outcomes rest with the institute and are made in line with these standards and our Terms of Use.
